I received a little note on Facebook a few minutes ago. It seemed to be a Cuban communist group who are thrilled that my ‘baseline’ ‘Why not’ on FB is the same as theirs – ‘¿por quĂ© no?’ or something. They just offered me a job. Revolutionaries want me. Nothing can be more flattering for me than that. Why not? Because anything happens anyway. It’s easier when you make it your way of life. Anything can happen. Anything can be done. Everything needs to be done, at least once. - The writer is an advertising ideator/writer and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Creative Advertising for AUT, Auckland, New Zealand. He is ‘guest lecturer’ at a few advertising & media schools in India and likes to write things in third person because they sound cool. If he weren’t in advertising, he would’ve been a musician. Or a stylist. Or a shoe designer. Or dead. P.S. - The ABBY AWARDS are India's premier annual advertising awards now held in Goa a.k.a 'Goafest'. The 50-year old awards are the most prestigious recognition of advertising talent, and for better understanding - they are the Indian equivalent of LYNX (Dubai), Kaancil (Malaysia), Axis (New Zealand) etc.
